Present a procedure learners have studied and ask which actions follow it. Each statement should be clear enough to answer without guessing policies that are not included in the question.
Do not group unrelated statements just to make a longer question. If each statement needs its own independent score, use separate true/false questions. To assess reasoning, add a short-answer question asking for an explanation.
The two formats ask learners to do different things. Choose based on the task, not just on how many answers are correct.
With “Multiple True/False (tiered scoring)”, each statement has two choices. Learners must identify false statements as well as true ones.
“Correct answers” means answers that match the answer key, not the number of times a learner chooses True.
With a multiple-answer question, learners check the options that apply. They do not give a separate True/False answer for each option.

If the answer to B is False, choosing False adds one to the correct-answer count. The system counts answers that match the key for each statement.
In the two-statement example, one correct answer earns 0.5 points and two earn 1 point. Do not add 0.5 + 1 or multiply these values by the separate “Score” field.
If a tier is missing, the system uses the highest threshold reached. With only 0 → 0 and 4 → 1, one, two or three correct answers still earn zero. Listing every count makes partial-credit rules clear.

For A, enter “25% of the students belong to the club.” and select True. For B, enter “15 students belong to the club.” and select False. Use “Add statement” for more items, and check each answer after making edits.
A is True and B is False. Each statement should test one clear point.
Add three tiers: 0 correct → 0 points, 1 correct → 0.5 points, and 2 correct → 1 point. Use “Add score tier” for extra rows and list correct-answer counts in ascending order. For this example, also set the separate “Score” field to 1 for consistency.
The top tier awards 1 point. The 0.5 in the table is an actual score, not a multiplier.
Test an attempt with neither answer correct, one correct, and both correct. The scores should be 0, 0.5 and 1. Include an attempt choosing True for A and False for B: that is two correct answers, even though True was selected only once.
Check the intermediate score as well as the minimum and maximum.
