The Submissions section helps teachers track students who have submitted their work, submission times, number of correct answers, and scores achieved.
Accessing the submission list
- Log in to NineQuiz.
- Select Quizzes.
- Open the quiz you want to check.
- Switch to the Submissions tab.
- The list of submissions will be displayed.
Searching and filtering submissions
Search by student
Enter a name or email into the search box to quickly find a specific student's submission.
Filter by class
Select Class to the right of the search box to display only submissions from a specific class.
This feature is useful when the same quiz is deployed to multiple classes.
Sort by time
Click on the Submission Time column to sort the list by newest or oldest.
Information in the list
- Student: Displays full name and email.
- Class: The student's class.
- Submission Time: The time the system recorded the submission.
- Submission: The status of the work, such as Submitted.
- Selected Questions: The number of questions the student answered.
- Correct Answers: The number of questions identified as correct by the system or the teacher.
- Score: The current total score of the submission.
Viewing submission details
- Find the student in the list.
- Click on the corresponding submission row.
- Check the answers, correct answers, and scores for each question.
- Grade essay questions or file attachments if any.
- Confirm or update the score to complete.
Exporting the results list
- Select Export in the top right corner.
- Choose a format supported by the system.
- Download the file to store or aggregate results.
Note:
- The score may not be the final result if the quiz contains essay questions or file uploads that haven't been graded.
- If students are allowed multiple submissions, ensure you select the correct attempt to view.
- It is recommended to filter by the correct class before grading or exporting results.
- Review the results before publishing them to students.
