What are credits used for?

Credits add ad-free attempts beyond your plan allowance. They are never required to create an exam or accept a submission; AI tokens are tracked under a separate allowance.

When does NineQuiz use AI tokens?

Only when you use AI to generate multiple-choice questions or import questions. Each plan includes an AI token allowance; buy more only if you want to keep using AI after it runs out. Existing exams continue to work normally.
