The Statistics section helps teachers evaluate overall results, completion time, and the accuracy level of each question.
Accessing the statistics page
- Log in to Ninequiz.
- Select Quick Quiz.
- Open the Quick Quiz you want to view.
- Switch to the Statistics tab.
1. Overview statistics
Total submissions
Displays the total number of plays recorded by the system.
One person can create multiple submissions if the Quick Quiz allows re-participation.
Average score
This is the average score of the submissions included in the statistics, helping teachers evaluate overall performance.
A low average score may indicate:
- Questions have high difficulty.
- Players have not mastered the content.
- Response time is too short.
- Answers or scoring methods need to be re-checked.
Lowest and highest scores
The Min/Max section displays:
- Lowest score.
- Highest score.
- The gap between the two score levels.
A large gap indicates a significant difference in results among players.
Average completion time
Displays the average time taken to complete the Quick Quiz.
The system may also display the median time. The median helps reflect the typical time more accurately when there are some plays that are exceptionally short or long.
2. Score distribution
The Score Distribution section divides results into levels:
- Excellent.
- Good.
- Average.
- Weak.
Each level displays the number of submissions and the corresponding percentage. The symbol N indicates the number of submissions included in the analysis.
Score distribution helps teachers:
- Evaluate the difficulty of the Quick Quiz.
- Determine the percentage of players who meet the requirements.
- Identify which level the results are concentrated in.
- Adjust content, time, or grading scale.
3. Statistics by question
Each question displays:
- Correct: Number of accurate answers.
- Incorrect: Number of inaccurate answers.
- Blank: Number of unanswered questions.
The chart bar helps quickly identify the result ratio:
- Green: correct answer.
- Orange: incorrect answer.
- Gray: blank.
A high rate of incorrect or blank answers may indicate that the question is difficult, the content is unclear, or the response time is inappropriate.
4. View answer choice details
Below each question, the Answer Choice Details section shows the number of people who chose each option.
This information helps teachers:
- Identify the most confusing option.
- Evaluate the quality of distractors.
- Detect answers that might be set up incorrectly.
- Identify knowledge that players often misunderstand.
5. Sorting statistical questions
Default
Displays questions in the order they appear in the Quick Quiz.
Most incorrect
Brings questions with the most incorrect answers to the top, helping teachers quickly identify difficult content or problematic questions.
Most correct
Brings questions with the most correct answers to the top, helping identify easy questions or mastered knowledge.
Notes for analysis
- There should be a sufficient number of submissions before drawing conclusions.
- Re-check the answer if a question has an unusually high incorrect rate.
- A high blank rate may be related to Sudden Death, time running out, or players exiting early.
- Combine scores, time, and individual question statistics for an accurate evaluation.
- For questions randomly selected from the library, the number of appearances for each question may vary, so be cautious when comparing.
