  4. Switch to the Statistics tab.

1. Overview Statistics

Total submissions

Displays the total number of submissions recorded by the system. If students are allowed multiple attempts, one student may have multiple submissions.

Average score

This is the average score of the submissions included in the statistics. This metric helps teachers evaluate the overall completion level.

A low average score may result from a difficult test, students not mastering the knowledge, or inappropriate answers and grading scales.

Lowest and highest scores

The Min/Max section displays:

  • Lowest score.
  • Highest score.
  • The gap between the two score levels.

A large gap may indicate uneven student ability or a high level of test discrimination.

Average completion time

Displays the average time students spent completing the test.

The system may also display the Median time. The median often reflects the typical completion time better when there are some unusually long submissions.

Note: Excessively long times may be due to students leaving the test open, connection loss, or lack of continuous activity.

2. Score distribution

The Score distribution section divides results into levels:

  • Excellent.
  • Good.
  • Average.
  • Poor.

Each level displays the number of submissions and the corresponding percentage. The symbol N indicates the number of submissions included in the analysis.

Score distribution helps teachers:

  • Evaluate the overall difficulty of the test.
  • Determine the percentage of students meeting requirements.
  • Detect results concentrated too heavily at one level.
  • Adjust teaching content or grading scales.

Note: The number of submissions included in the distribution may differ from the total submissions if there are still ungraded or unconfirmed scores.

3. Statistics by question

Each question displays:

  • Correct: Number of correct answers.
  • Incorrect: Number of incorrect answers.
  • Blank: Number of unanswered questions.

Color bars help teachers quickly identify result ratios:

  • Green: correct answers.
  • Orange: incorrect answers.
  • Gray: blank questions.

A high rate of incorrect or blank answers may indicate a difficult question, unclear wording, or content not yet mastered by students.

4. Sorting question statistics

Default

Displays questions in the order they appear in the quiz.

Most incorrect

Brings questions with the most incorrect answers to the top. Teachers can use this mode to identify weak knowledge areas or detect problematic questions.

Most correct

Brings questions with the most correct answers to the top. This mode helps identify easy questions or content students have mastered.

Notes for analysis

  • Complete grading of essay questions and confirm scores before evaluation.
  • Re-check answers if a question has an unusually high incorrect rate.
  • Do not rely solely on the average score to conclude learning quality.
  • Combine score distribution, completion time, and individual question statistics.
  • For quizzes using random questions, the number of appearances for each question may vary, so be cautious when comparing.
