Monitoring data helps teachers review the student's test-taking process, including screen recordings, snapshots, and events flagged as unusual by the system.
This feature only contains data when the test has the corresponding monitoring options enabled.
Accessing monitoring data
- Access Tests.
- Open the test you want to view.
- Switch to the Submissions tab.
- Select the student's submission.
- Click Review screen recording.
Viewing overview information
The overview area displays:
- Warning level.
- Total recorded events.
- Number of warnings and critical events.
- Number of times the student switched tabs or hid the window.
- Number of screenshots.
- Number of behaviors flagged as suspicious by the system.
The warning level is aggregated by the system based on events during the test-taking process and should only be used as reference information.
Reviewing the screen recording
The player allows teachers to review the screen activity throughout the student's test-taking process.
Teachers can:
- Play or pause the recording.
- Move to a specific time to check.
- Change the playback speed, such as 0.5x, 1x, 2x, or 4x.
- Enable the option to skip periods of inactivity.
- View in full screen.
- Switch between pages or stages of the test.
Checking the event log

- Student granted screen sharing permission.
- Test window lost focus.
- Student switched tabs or minimized the window.
- Student returned to the test tab.
- Screenshots captured by the system.
- Other warnings arising during the test-taking process.
Teachers can select:
- All: View the entire log.
- Suspicious: View only events flagged by the system as requiring attention.
Click on an event to check the recording or snapshot at the corresponding time.
Viewing the photo gallery
- Select View photo gallery.
- Browse the snapshots recorded during the test.
- Compare the photo timestamps with the event log.
- Open the photo for detailed inspection.
Notes for evaluation
- System warnings are not definitive conclusions of cheating behavior.
- Tab switching can occur due to calls, notifications, browser errors, or connection loss.
- It is necessary to cross-reference recordings, snapshots, logs, and the submission before reaching a conclusion.
- Students should not be evaluated solely based on the total number of warnings.
- Monitoring data may be incomplete if the student does not grant permission or the device is not supported.
- Only authorized personnel should be allowed to access the data.
- Compliance with privacy policies and organizational data storage regulations is required.
