The Show quiz results section allows teachers to choose when players can review the content and detailed results after completing the Quick Quiz.
This setting does not change the grading mechanism. Questions with answers are still automatically graded by the system.
How to set up
- Open the Quick Quiz you are editing.
- Open Advanced settings.
- Find the Show quiz results section.
- Select one of the four modes.
- Review before publishing.
1. Hide quiz results
After submission, the system still automatically grades and returns the score to the player but does not display the content of the completed questions.
Suitable when:
- Question content needs to be kept confidential.
- The Quick Quiz is organized in multiple rounds or groups.
- Questions will be reused.
- You do not want early participants to share questions with later ones.
Note: Hiding results does not mean stopping grading or hiding scores. Players still receive their score after submission but cannot view the detailed work.
2. After the teacher grades the work
Players can only view the content of their work and detailed results after the teacher completes grading and confirms the score.
Suitable when:
- The Quick Quiz has open-ended questions.
- There is content that requires manual checking by the teacher.
- The teacher wants to review results before publishing.
Note: If the score has not been confirmed, players may not be able to view the full results.
3. After the scheduled quiz time ends
Detailed results are only displayed after the Quick Quiz session ends.
Suitable when:
- Players participate at different times.
- Sharing questions needs to be restricted while the Quiz is still open.
- The Quick Quiz is organized within a specific time frame.
Example: Quick Quiz is open from 08:00 to 10:00. A player who submits at 09:00 must wait until the scheduled time ends to view detailed results.
4. After the student submits the work
Players can view results immediately after completing and submitting the Quick Quiz.
Suitable when:
- Organizing review activities.
- Players need immediate feedback.
- Content does not require confidentiality.
- The Quick Quiz is used as a knowledge game.
Note: If there are questions that require manual grading by the teacher, the results displayed immediately after submission may not be the final score.
Selection suggestions
- Need to keep questions confidential: select Hide quiz results.
- Have questions that need manual grading: select After the teacher grades the work.
- Quiz is still open for multiple groups: select After the scheduled quiz time ends.
- Review activities or games: select After the student submits the work.
