Categories and Groups help teachers classify, organize, and search for questions more conveniently in the library.
Category Management
Add a new category
- Access app.ninequiz.com and log in.
- In the For Teachers area, select Question Library.
- Switch to the Category tab.
- Click Create category in the top right corner.
- Enter the category name and required information.
- Select Save to complete.
You can open an existing category and continue to select Create category to create a sub-category if the system supports it.
Edit category
- In the Category tab, find the category to update.
- Click the three dots icon on the right of the category.
- Select Edit.
- Update the name or related information.
- Select Save to complete.
Delete category
- Find the category to delete.
- Click the three dots icon on the right.
- Select Delete.
- Check the information and confirm deletion.
Group Management
Add a new group
- In the Question Library, switch to the Group tab.
- Click Create group.
- Enter the group name and required information.
- Select Save to create a new group.
- Add or classify appropriate questions into the group.
Edit group
- In the Group tab, find the group to update.
- Click the three dots icon next to the group.
- Select Edit.
- Change the name or information of the group.
- Select Save to complete.
Delete group
- Find the group to delete.
- Click the three dots icon next to the group.
- Select Delete.
- Check the information and confirm group deletion.
Note:
- Category and group names should be concise, clear, and appropriate for the subject, topic, or purpose of use.
- Before deleting, check the number of questions currently classified in the category or group.
- If a category has sub-categories, you should check and reorganize the content before deleting.
- Deletion may not be undoable. Please read the system's confirmation message carefully before proceeding.
