The Duplicate feature helps teachers create a new quiz from an existing one without having to rewrite the entire content.
Steps to perform
- Log in to NineQuiz.
- Select Quizzes on the menu bar.
- Open the All Quizzes, Published, or Drafts tab.
- Find the quiz you want to duplicate.
- Click on the three dots icon on the quiz card.
- Select Duplicate.
- Wait for the system to create a copy.
- Open the copy in the quiz list to edit.
- Review the content and choose to publish now or schedule a post.
Copied content
The copy may include:
- Title and description.
- Quiz sections.
- Questions, options, and answers.
- Points for each question.
- Time settings.
- Result display settings.
- Number of submissions.
- Display, security, and proctoring options.
Submissions, scores, statistics, and proctoring data from the old quiz are not transferred to the new one.
Check the copy before publishing
After duplicating, teachers should:
- Change the title to distinguish it from the original.
- Update the description, class, or participants.
- Reset access time and publishing schedule.
- Check questions, answers, and total points.
- Check the number of submissions.
- Review security and proctoring options.
- Confirm the sharing link of the new quiz.
When should you duplicate?
- Use the same structure for another class.
- Create tests for a new semester or school year.
- Create a new version before major edits.
- Create multiple test codes from an original quiz.
- Keep the old quiz data while reusing the content.
Note: The copy is an independent quiz. Changes made to the copy do not affect the original quiz.
